MicroMan: Micromanipulator
MikroMan micromanipulators provide precise linear movement in the axes you specify. The micromanipulators we use in the MikroProbe test station have 5 µm sensitivity. Their range of motion is 25 mm. Each micromanipulator can be connected to each other in different orientations. Thus, you can provide movement in the X, Y and Z axes.
Made of 6000 series aluminum material for lightness and durability. MikroMan micromanipulators are coated with Al2O3 to protect them from rust and scratches and their surfaces are hardened. They are also painted in a matte black color to prevent optical reflections. Mikroman is offered with 2 different spring pogo test pins. Of these, the spherical pin (Figure 2) is used for materials that are not resistant to scratching. Conical spring pogo pins (Figure 3) are used for smaller contact points and hard materials. There are two types, right micrometer and left micrometer. For a single XYZ moving system, 2 Right, 1 Left or 2 Left, 1 Right MikroMan are required. There are M3 and M4 screw holes in various positions on the MikroMan. Thus, you can place a part of your own development weighing up to 15 kg on the MikroMan (on the XY axes).
